Your access deserves more than promises

Perroly holds the keys to your social accounts: here is precisely how they are protected, where your data lives, and what we never do.

Connections through official APIs, only

Every account connects through its platform’s official protocol (OAuth): you sign in directly with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube or Threads, and the platform hands us an access token limited to the permissions you granted.

Concretely: Perroly never knows your social media passwords, and will never ask for them. No robot logs in “on your behalf”: everything goes through official interfaces, within each platform’s rules.

Encryption, along the whole journey

  • Access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM — never readable in clear text in our database.
  • All exchanges between your browser, our servers and the platforms go through HTTPS/TLS.
  • Your Perroly password is hashed with a modern algorithm: we cannot read it, nobody can.
  • Incoming platform notifications (webhooks) are cryptographically verified before being processed.

Data hosted in the European Union

Platform data is processed on infrastructure located in the European Union, in compliance with the GDPR, with compartmentalised access: each component of the system only accesses the data strictly necessary to its function.

You stay in control, at all times

  • Disconnect any network from your “Accounts” area: the token is revoked immediately and the data from that platform is deleted.
  • You can also revoke access directly from the platform’s own settings (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok) — the effect is the same.
  • Delete your account at any time: your data is erased from our servers within 30 days at most, as detailed on the Data deletion page.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent your data — to anyone, ever.
  • Store a social network password, in any form.
  • Use your accounts’ data for anything other than the features you enable.
  • Set advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

If you believe you have identified a security flaw, write to admin@perroly.com with the technical details. We acknowledge receipt, fix with priority and keep you informed — please give us time to patch before any public disclosure.
