Getting started with Perroly: a step-by-step guide

Perroly brings publishing, messaging, automations and analytics for your social networks into a single interface. Here is the shortest path from an empty account to an organised presence, step by step, no jargon.

1. Connect your accounts

Everything starts in the “Accounts” area of app.perroly.com. Every connection goes through the official window of the platform involved: you sign in with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube or Threads, never with us. Perroly never sees your password; it receives an access token, encrypted before it is stored.

Two things to check first: Instagram requires a professional or creator account, and the Facebook features apply to Pages (not personal profiles). If your Instagram account is not converted yet, it takes two minutes in the Instagram app settings.

2. Schedule your first post

Open the composer, write your message, add your media, then tick the destination accounts. This is where the writing assistant earns its keep: it suggests a version adapted to each network’s codes: shorter with hashtags for Instagram, longer form for LinkedIn.

Then pick a date and time. The post goes out automatically at the scheduled moment; if something goes wrong on the platform’s side, Perroly retries.

3. Centralise your messages

As soon as an Instagram account or a Facebook Page is connected, private messages flow into the unified inbox, with the full history of every conversation. You reply from Perroly and the answer goes out on the original network.

4. Build your first automation

Start simple: a welcome message for new conversations, or an automatic reply when a comment contains a given keyword. Seven triggers are available, and each one can send a simple reply or launch a full scenario built in the visual editor.

Our advice for week one: a single automation, a single goal, and reread the generated conversations after a few days before adding more.

5. Check your analytics (but not every day)

The Analytics tab shows how your audience and performance evolve per account. The curves are built day after day. Give them two weeks before drawing conclusions. To go further, add a few competitor accounts to your watchlist: Perroly snapshots them daily.

What next?

Perroly is free during the launch phase: create your account, connect a first network and plan your week. If anything blocks you, write to admin@perroly.com: every message gets read.
